I search high and low for the best writers, and when I found this story of Leon Jackson in Heckler Spray, I had to tell the world about it:
Heckler Spray describes Leon Jacksons appearance as:

“a weeping rat-haired fool”

Leon Jackson tragically now counts as X Factor’s most normal singer - and since he’s a weeping rat-haired fool, that really isn’t saying much. And it’s not even as if Leon Jackson is particularly brilliant, either. His first performance - of Crazy Little Thing Called Love - was slurred out in one long nondescript word like a twelfth-rate Sinatra impersonator, and his second - The Long And Winding Road - was only memorable because Simon Cowell called the song choice “ridiculous“.
