Mariah has never worn real fur, she was given some as a present but she (ALSO against it) donated it to PEDA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to use in demonstrations.

Please remember here “Leona doesn’t mention names”. Leona has been a vegetarian since she was young, yet Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston (today floating around the ages of 40 & 50) are still so unevolved that they’re both supporting the unjust unnecessary slaughter of animals, for personal pleasure. Fur and/or meat, neither is more moral than thee other, both are complete innecessities, and I’m glad Leona has (all along) had the conscious consciousness to set herself apart from those denigrate deeds and actions. Proud of you Leona.
this story is ridiculous, Leona never said that at all, that is completely taken out of context. Not only does mariah not wear real fur, Leona HAS taken to stage with her for the Stand Up To Cancer thing.
This article is ludicrous; Leona’s never made such a vow, and even if she did, then fine. And it looks like whoever wrote this article knows that many people are dumb and take the final sentence as something she said, when it is their own speculation - without basis either.

how dare you post this! Leona Lewis would never ever speak about people in such a way! Leona recently said she doesnt push her beliefs on anyone, its just what SHE chooses to do. Actually everyone! I am a member of PETA and Mariah carey isnt. If u search for celebrity members of PETA, then you will see for yourself all of the celebs on there and Mariah isnt. Mariah just donated a fur coat to PETA. She may not wear real fur but everytime she goes to a hotel, she askes for a basket of puppies and kittens to play with! Hence Dermot’s comment on the X Factor ( have a cup of tea and stroke a puppie!!!)Then what do you think happens to them?? she doesnt keep them all, there just toys to her! really sick.
and if Leona did say that comment, then fair play to her because who the hell do celebs that wear real fur (J-Lo,Aretha Franklin think they are??and its not ok for people to have “there own views on it” because animals get torchured and killied, sometimes skinned aive!
