Maxine Meyers of the voice wrote a story about Leona Lewis, and got reactions from Leona Lewis about her interests outside of music.
Leona Lewis said: “I’m a vegetarian so I would love to do an accessories range or clothes range something that isn’t harmful to animals, I have a lot of different dreams and ambitions,’ she said.”
The x factor fan site commented on Leona Lewis crazy ideas, and how it could actually work.
Besides a clothing line made out of hemp and cotton, there is nothing Leona Lewis could make a clothing line from that would not be harmful to animals and humans and the environment.
HEMP:

Dress made of 100% Hemp
There is nothing better than hemp clothing if you are looking for fashionable clothes that promote the hemp plant. A very large selection of hemp clothes for men and women. Our hemp clothes range from t-shirts to pants, to belts, socks, shoes, slippers and so much more. Many of our hemp clothing products have a cotton blend to give the items that require texture and to give them a wrinkle resistant look. Enamore Creative and Organic
- Hemp wears 2-3x longer than any fiber, softens as you wear, and is more breathable than cotton.
- Hemp fiber has a porous nature allowing it to breath, therefore it keeps you cool in the summer, and in the winter it traps air into the fiber keeping you warm.
- Hemp is known as the strongest fiber; over twice as strong as cotton.
Nowadays we can observe the revival of hemp clothing. The fibre is considerably more durable than other fabrics therefore lasts longer; it is also soft, breathes better and is enviromentally friendly as hemp cultivation does not require any chemicals or fertilisers.
It is a great alternative to traditional clothing. It can be worn in both summer and winter. The material can be dyed just about any color and cut into all kinds of styles that can be worn by men, women, and kids. You can also buy hemp bags, belts, hats, wallets and other accessories
The British Empire was built on hemp. The ships all used hemp, from the sails to the ropes down to the sailor’s uniforms. At one point Britain and France went to war over protecting the Russian hemp supplies, as the Russian hemp made the strongest sails and ropes.
And the American Declaration of Independence 200 years ago was signed on paper made from hemp. Also, George Washington was a hemp farmer knowing how beneficial the hemp plant is
First, can Leona Lewis take the taboo out of wearing rubber fetish clothing?
If Leona Lewis makes a fashion line from man made materials they could very well be cancerous to all living creatures, and harmful to the environment. The man made materials do not decompose and would have to be placed in a land fill for all eternity. The gases that plastics and rubber give off are cancerous and harmful. Rubber, while it comes from a plant, could be recycled many times over. Just don’t burn it.
A vegetarian celebrity client of mine would not allow plastics into her house for fear that her pets and other animals would suffocate if they got stuck in them. What you would get is clothing for vegetarians and vegan, for which they would not wear, nor allow into their homes.
When someone wears clothes like these, you would think they would be on the floor most of the time. The clothes are made for fulfilling fantasy.
Clear, durable vinyl boots: disposable by design and price! The hard bottom has a tread, which may be coated with a harmless petroleum–jelly–type substance –– wipe off the soles before walking on a carpeted floor. They have elastic around the ankles, and reach 9–1/2” up the leg. Discard them, if you wish, after mucking around indoors or outdoors. Our package contains (2) pairs.

Dyes:
She would have to not use cancerous toxic dyes or man made colours.
We dye in many different ways depending on the garment type and the fabric. Some are dyed prior to construction, and some are garment-dyed after they are already made. We use fiber reactive dyes, a low impact variety of dye that actually combines with the fiber of the fabric. We do not use plant-based dyes because the chemicals required to “fix” them ( make them permanent ) are actually very toxic. It would not provide a safe working environment for our studio help and also would create water-runoff containing heavy metals. We choose fiber reactive dyes for their durability, effective color, and minimal risk. We dye in small batches, so there will be variations from batch to batch. If you need 2 garments to match precisely we recommend ordering them at the same time so we can dye them together.
She would not be able to add any man made materials in the fibers to make them stretch or last longer, because that would be toxic to the environment.
Even if Leona Lewis doesn’t design them herself, she can put her name on it and sell millions.
