With all the rumours that Leona bought a house in L.A and moved to the U.S, it should be remembered that Leona is a household name in the UK, and not the USA. With her promotional tour starting this week, and her new single being released on October 22. Having won the x factor last year, she built a large fan base, that is expected to purchase her single “Bleeding Love”.
The recording company spared no expenses at developing Leona Lewis into the next great female pop star. They wanted her in L.A, to get the best people in the industry of making international superstars.
Next Saturday, Leona Lewis will appear on The X factor in this years first live show, and then she will follow that up with more ITV appearances, alongside superstar divas Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Chaka Khan.
Placing her alongside well established multi million selling recording artists is going to put much pressure on the very young and unseasoned X factor winner. It will be a humbling experience to be on the same stage as her idols growing up. She knows she has a long way to go to match their successes.
While she is back in the UK, Leona will make time to enjoy watching this years final 12 on The X factor. After all, that is the single reason for her big break.
