Young Astro has been in the media constantly since his time on The X Factor and that is all about to go up a notch. The young rapper released ‘Loser’ his mix tape not so long ago and maybe it was this that caught the attention of his former XFactor mentor, L.A. Reid. L.A who heads the music label, ‘Epic Records’ has taken the leap of faith to trust the 15-year old and give him a fantastic record deal with one of the hottest labels around.
Astro Gets Record Deal After The X Factor
The X Factor ended a few months ago now, but talk is still high about the talent show. Even though ‘American Idol’ and other talent shows are set to hit screens shortly, The X Factor has been given a chance to hit screens for another season. Despite this, nothing will top the first US version of the XFactor show when Astro burst onto our displays with enthusiasm, confidence, cockiness and the ‘cool dude’ attitude. Astro’s talents and skills are much matured and his ability to create his own rhymes and beats were shocking for someone who has never really been in the music business. Now, L.A. Reid has signed Astro to ‘Epic Records’.
Other Contestants From The X Factor Have Been Signed
It is not just Astro who has been given a chance at fame, fortune and cracking the music industry because some other contestants have been considered for a record deal as well. L.A. Reid has the power in his hands and he has chosen to focus on some of the boys he mentored on the show, including Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene. Word has spread regarding The X Factor Chris Rene’s signing to make at least $500,000 from his deal with ‘Epic Records’ , and Josh is still in talks about what is going to happen with his musical future.
Astro Hopes To Make Music History With The X Factor Judge L.A. Reid
The X Factor taught Astro to aim for the stars and that is exactly what he is doing. A recent statement from Astro since the announcement of him signing the record contract with L.A. Reid said the following; ‘’ L.A Reid and I will make history'’. This line is not short of confidence but it is a major possibility, due to the fact that L.A. Reid has signed and made successes out of various other superstars in the industry. Now, The X Factor Astro is flying out to be closer to L.A and work on his new album.
