Even though she had performed live on the X Factor stage in front of millions of viewers, Rachel was still star-struck and nervous to be attending such a high profile event.

This strong, bubbly young girl captured the hearts of many from her first audition. Further down the line in the competition when Rachel Crow performed Beyoncé’s hit, ‘If I Were A Boy’ everybody thought she was in with a chance of winning The X Factor. Despite the hopes of winning, Rachel was voted out of the competition when she was up against Marcus Canty in a deadlock vote. The American public felt a sense of sadness as Rachel wept and hugged her mother, following her slump to the floor of the stage at her bitter disappointment of leaving the competition.

The People’s Choice Awards is an event ceremony whereby people from the public cast votes for their favorite categories. These categories include things such as favorite movies, TV and music. Rachel Crow tweeted her fans saying, ‘‘I'm having soooo much fun! I saw Ian Somerhalder and fainted #notliterally’’. Wearing a dress designed by Adrianna Papell and beautiful jewelry to accompany it, it appears that Rachel Crow is still soaking up the glamorous lifestyle even after her stint on The X Factor. Fans of The X Factor star can now wait and see what other events this young star gets invited to, and whether or not she will be striking up a record deal or plans with Disney anytime soon.
