Rachel Crow was part of The X Factor journey and her presence is still felt. Recent times have seen the 13-year-old visit star-studded ceremonies, including The People’s Choice Awards. It is clear that Rachel is thoroughly enjoying the luxuries life brings after a boost to fame through a talent show like the X Factor. Despite this, Rachel has admitted that the show and the producers were changing her songs last minute, which sometimes caused a problem for the young singer.
Rachel Crow Finished The X Factor In 5th Place
The X Factor contestant was strong throughout the entire length of the competition and she managed to finish in 5th place, which is pretty impressive for a 13-year-old girl. She had the whole of America rooting for her when she was part of the talent show and with the support from her fans and her mother, Rachel felt as though she was there for the entire ride. However, disaster struck when a deadlock vote between Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty led to Rachel being eliminated from the competition for good.
Songs Were Taken From Rachel Twice On The X Factor
Rachel has stated that while she performed on The X Factor, Simon and the producers changed her songs the day before her performance on two occasions. Why this happened, nobody knows but it was surely tough for Rachel to prepare with such a minimal amount of time. In one of the XFactor performances, "Where Did Our Love Go"/"Baby" was originally supposed to be a different mash-up including the two songs "Forget You"/"Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
Change In Songs On The X Factor Made Things Difficult For Rachel
Although she did so well in the competition, it appears that Rachel could possibly have stayed in a little longer if she was able to stick to the original song choice. Speaking about how it affected her and her performances, Rachel said, ‘’They took me into a room, and they told me they were changing the song. I did the best I could, but honestly, it was not my favorite. I think that was my weakest performance." With this happening to somebody in the finals of The X Factor talent show, it is difficult to think about what is happening with the song choices for people in the early stages. Regardless of Rachel Crow’s song choice, there is no question that the American public was able to see her kindness shine through, as well as her ability to bring it to The X Factor stage, week after week.
