Kelly Rowland was loved by the British public in 2011 when she joined the judging panel for the XFactor talent show. The ex-Destiny’s Child star brought attitude and a sense of fun to the role, which is why everyone is so shocked to discover she will not return for another season of the show. Kelly mentored the girls while filming The X Factor in the United Kingdom, and she had some very talented individuals in her group.
Kelly Rowland Worked On UK XFactor Judging Panel
The X Factor UK judging panel once consisted of Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue. Due to Simon needing to fly out to the States and begin on his USA version of the XFactor show, the judging panel fell apart. Cheryl joined Simon in the USA, only to be turned away after a few episodes, while Dannii chose different paths. Therefore, spots were filled by Louis Walsh (an original judge), Gary Barlow from band Take That, Tulisa Contostavlos from band N-Dubz and of course, Kelly Rowland.
XFactor Judge Was Spotted With L.A. Reid Recently
The recent BET awards were held, but will not be aired until February. Kelly Rowland made an appearance at these awards, showing off her outstanding figure, beautiful skin tone and gorgeous hair. She brushed shoulders with ex-girl group member, Michelle Williams. The XFactor judge did not seem to talk about her time on the show and it could be her visit to the BET awards which proves her desire to get back into her own music. Who knows, the next awards could see her being praised for her own musical adventures.
Empty Space On US XFactor Panel Could Be Open For Kelly
The USA XFactor judging panel is one down as Nicole Scherzinger will not be returning for the next season. If Simon Cowell cannot find a replacement for the judging panel, things could turn messy. Talks have been in place about asking Cheryl Cole to come back to the States and be a judge/mentor however Kelly has been close with L.A. Reid lately. L.A. Reid is a judge on The X Factor show and although it is not necessarily him who chooses the people to participate on the judging panel, but at the BET awards, Kelly and L.A. looked in deep conversation. This leaves us to think, could L.A. persuade Simon to ask Kelly to transfer from the UK version of the show to the USA one? The USA XFactor begins again later on this year, so until that time, a new judge has not been announced.
