x factor producers continued with their trickery, when icaro took to the x factor stage.
Just as icaro was to begin singing with others on the stage, we noticed that icaro’s microphone had been turned off. This disgraceful trick is the worst one that has been played on icaro.
icaro wanted to sing his heart out, but no one could hear him sing.
What was going to be a very merry christmas, and the best gift in the world.
turned out to be nightmare. When will icaro be given a real chance to show his real ability?
We demand an apology from the x factor producers, and that they make up for this trickery, that they will claim was an equipment error.
At least rhydians microphone was not turned off during the live shows.
How many people have turned off the x factor, and at what point did they stop watching?
The x factor fan site peaked on Saturday, November 3, 2007 (after the live show.)
The following week was half the visitors, and half after that.
Why did the x factor lose visitors to the web site, and people watching at home?
What kept the show the most watched in the UK, and what happened?
1. Auditioning is the best part of the show, and creates the funnest characters. People loved watchig this part of the show. They love the comments, and harsh treatment of the judges.
2. Before the final 12 are picked, people love the variety of contestants. Even during the x factor boot camp (seX mansion)
3. Sisi Jghalef
a. created excitement
b. was sexy
c. controversial
d. law breaker
e. drug user
f. a good singer
When Sisi Jghalef was forced off the show, half the viewers left. We must also point out that breaking the rules to allow rejects to come back and form groups was unfair to the many groups who were much more promising. This also was a major reason of lost viewers. Even though the x factor fan site tried to keep their names alive, and even requested they send in video’s to promote, it really hurt.
4. Icaro
a. The funnest part of the show every week was unpredictable Icaro
b. Singing and serenading the judges was so much fun to watch
c. Bath Tub stress release - was hilarious
d. Mentor to leon and rhydian
e. The only real personality on the show
f. Phantom of Love was contagious.
When Louis Walsh tried to destroy the show by getting rid of Icaro, he succeeded on many levels. So many people turned the show off, and no longer were entertained by anyone on the show. No more soul, heart, laughter, personality were left.
5. The Rugby Disaster.
When ITV decided to replace a week of x factor with rugby, many viewers never returned. They found other shows like strictly come dancing or did other things with their time. The cycle had been broken of repeatedly being the most watched TV show in the UK.
Lastly, when I saw the interest in same difference by children, and placed the high school musical song at the top of the web site sung by sarah and sean, and no longer placed rhydian videos at the top, many people left and never returned.
Why I support same difference to win
In my search of x factor web sites, I did not encounter any place besides forums that devoted space to same difference. I tried to create an environment for them, and felt their voting was much stronger than any other finalist. The reason I kept the high school musical video is because that was they turning point that push the button of all teens and children to get behind same difference. They were not only voting for the x factor winner, but they were voting for their love of high school musical. Anyone representing their favourite movie, favourite songs, favourite stars is who they would vote for. Sean and sarah did not upset their fans, and continued by singing everything in a high school musical style.
Simon Cowell is a genius
I applaud their technique and the savvy understanding that simon cowell has for gaining the publics interest. He found the niche of the children, without keeping young contestants. He sucked the young audience in, by allowing young teens on the show and it worked. He is really brilliant. Unfortunately, he could not keep many other people watching.

dannii minogue made a behind the scenes video to her new single “touch me like that”, where she revealed several things about the stylist, designers, and other inside secrets to making the video.
Watching the new single and hearing about dannii’s choice in fetish latex stockings and gloves, in florescent colours you might get the idea she is a vegetarian or a fan of leona lewis fight to stop the wearing of dead animals.
Also in the behind the scenes, dannii reveals the designer is Christian Ardenvik, or something close to that name as the designer who loaned the models, the clothing, lingerie and possibly the nazi ss storm trooper helmets. The nazi cabaret style theme could have also been approved by Andy Soup and Dennis Madden who directed the video.
It turns out that dannii minogue did follow the hit formula of sampling a big disco song in the making of her new single “Touch me like that”.
In an interview with DJ and Producer jason nevins, he mentions using sylvester’s big disco hit “you make me feel (mighty real)”.
So if Jason Nevins sampled a very danceable and recognizable song, why is the dannii minogue song not a hit?

without any set, makeup, fashion, models, or a person for that matter, you can see that just having someone dance to the song, makes it much more interesting.

A video review of “touch me like that” by dannii minogue.
The video was very dark, in appearance and dannii was lying down for most of the video.
If you want people to respond by dancing to it, creating no action, with the singer lying on her back is not the best way to create excitement.
My heart was pumping faster at the tall models dressed in lingerie, but they also were not animated enough.
Leona Lewis must be happy about the use of PVC or Rubber type materials that dannii and the lingerie models were wearing instead of the use of dead animals.
The use of Nazi SS soldier Helmets on the models was not a very good style decision. It added nothing to the video except gaining my disgust. (this was apparently a subliminal anti-semitic message, because it went by so quickly.)
The DJ Nevin was in a t shirt with a headset on. He was moving so slow, I thought he was playing a reggae song or something with no beat. He was also lacked any expression, and did not seem to be into the whole video shoot. Like he was just there to collect his pay check.
When Dannii was standing:
Dannii seems to have been placed in a fun house full of mirrors, where she is the only one there. She looks like she has been drugged, with slow and sluggish movements.
What jewelry designer was dannii trying to help, by wearing a large blue, multi stoned ring on her finger? While her clothes changed several times in the video, the ring did not.
While we are talking about fingers. dannii appears to have blue nail polish with short stubbed finger nails. Does dannii bite her nails? What about a press-on nail or something that looks classy and longer?
Why is this not a hit?
The biggest problem in the song is not from dannii. The biggest problem is the DJ and the producer. They should have sampled a famous disco beat, or something recognizable so we could easily become attached to the song. By going with a generic disco beat, and not with a sample in the song, dannii can’t get the same interest as someone like madonna, who sampled abba. The phenomenal success of newer music artists like P diddy or Jay Z is their ability to sample songs. My point is that everyone follows this formula for success, and dannii missed the opportunity for a big hit.
By remixing the song with a sample, the song would do much better. Give up some royalties in your earnings, and make a hit album.

In the USA, rejects often become more famous than the winners of American Idol. In Spain, as long as you got your audition televised, it is enough to gain country wide exposure. In the example here, while the girl Silvia cannot sing, she somehow struck a chord with the audience and now has success from being a reject.
The answer is YES, you can still have success, even if you are a reject. With any amount of TV exposure, enough people have seen you to remember your unique talent.

If you were judging the x factor on showmanship, then the winner would be same difference. If children are the voting factor, then the winner would be same difference. If this is a popularity contest, then same difference would be the winner. Sarah in her cheer leader mini skirt and sean in his retro schoolboy letter jacket, are far more pleasing to look at then the rest of the finalists. Is there any one performance that sealed the deal?
When same difference, performed the disney’s high school musical song, they sealed the deal with all the children. The formula of fun, happiness and smiles is why they will win.
The pillow fight song, keeps the fun and happy style going strong. You can’t watch this without smiling. Who else can do that?
Its a good thing this is not about vocal talent, because no one wants to see an old mum win. Maybe listen to her, but not see her. Where rhydian is scary and boring to listen to for a child, and he really can’t connect to that whole audience. Niki has a better chance of connecting to children, because she’s a mother.
Sisi Jghalef the sexpot who was kicked out of the girl group hope would have made avery different or much more successful run at beating out leon, same difference, niki and rhydian had she been allowed to stay in the group. judging on her look and the video photo shoot stripping for zoo magazine, sisi jghalef would have turned up the heat for sure

This week we will enjoy another campy live show full of the Best of British music on The X Factor live show. I had researched Adam Ant, when it was rumoured to be a song choice by rhydian. I cannot believe the time wasted. I had interviewed Band members and managers of people who played with Adam Ant in the 80’s, and had some funny stories, that will never be told now. I was so much going to enjoy rhydian with a puffy shirt and heavy war paint makeup, or at least a white line across his face. Is it still possible that a song could change before the live show? hope should seriously look into changing their spice girls song to more uptempo, and do it quickly before its to late.
You cannot get more campy than songs from Queen and Wham.
One of the best bands from the 80’s will perform live on the results show. Duran Duran, will not only perform, but will mentor the finalists on how to be campy. I hope all the drugs didn’t slow them down to much. (Who’s older Simon Lebon or Dannii Minogue?)
This week we will see something new, when each finalist will perform two songs. Possibly over the drama that hope has caused in allowing phoebe brown to sing lead on the last couple live shows. This week it was promised by simon cowell, that would not be repeated.
Hope will sing the famous queen anthem “We Will Rock You” and then will sing the spice girls hit, “2 Become 1.” I would have thought rhydian would have locked out anyone else from singing anything sung by freddy mercury and queen. The song that hope chose to sing by the spice girls is one of their most boring song choices, and will almost without a doubt knock them out of the competition and put us all to sleep.
Same Difference sticks with their formula of fun and happiness with their performance of wham’s big hit “Wake Me up Before You Go Go” and Any Dream Will Do.
Leon Jackson sings for maybe his last time with “The Long and Winding Road” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” Very weak song choices, and the only thing saving leon this week is the uptempo song choices, that will put us all in a good mood and make us smile, and maybe snapping our fingers.
Rhydian Roberts continues on his gay theme, of singing flamboyant gay men’s anthems, and attempts to do his best freddy mercury and queen while being all camped out singing ” Somebody To Love”, and “I Vow to Thee My Country/World In Union.” Is it possible people will finaly wake up and understand just because he is young and good looking, that he is no popular music singer, and its not mainstream music that he is capable of singing. The momentum might be to strong now, as most people have picked him for the past couple of weeks as this years x factor winner.
Lastly, Our old momma Niki Evans, performs Fields of Gold and Total Eclipse of The Heart. This is a great song choice for momma niki, as she will be able to show off the best female talent left on the show.

Good bye Hope.
While Leon will also be in the bottom two for the first time.
At least he will be close enough to able to give emily a goodbye kiss. And, phoebe brown can move on with her seX tape and porn career, that so many people are more interested in, than her music.
If age is a factor like it was for beverley, then niki will be in the bottom two for the first time this week. It sure won’t be based on her singing ability. but it wasn’t for beverley either, and she is gone.
